Jonathan Sends Thanks

[On returning from the district conference, DGE Dave Gallagher writes:]

I received my usual amount of emails today from RI. However one of them had an address that I had not seen before. It was from Jonathan Majiyagbe. I had written his aide Mark Maloney explaining about Project HOPE and the Ade Majiyagbe Memorial Weaving Center. I also invited Jonathan to join us in January in Kisumu for the dedication of the weaving center. Here is his letter:

Dear David,

Mark Maloney has kindly shared your email with me.  As you know, my term as President ends on 30 June 2004 and I am for the moment only compiling all the invitations that are coming in for events after that date, until I return home after having been away for two and a half years.  Please bear with me as I settle in at home after my "retirement" and I will get back to you later.

Until then, I wish to let you know how very grateful I am to you and all the 54 clubs in District 5220 for naming the project after Ade and for your kind invitation.  Thank you for LENDING A HAND in your community in this special way.

Kind regards,

Jonathan B. Majiyagbe

President, Rotary International
