Your Foundation at Work – in The PhilippinesThe Rotary Foundation has approved our Avoidable Blindness project that is called “Bright Eyes for a Brighter Future.” The project will provide Illuminated Snellen Charts to the 42 schools in Tanauan City, The Philippines.
Every school has agreed to test every student’s vision every year. Local Rotarians will work closely with the schools to make sure that the equipment is properly maintained and that the project is being implemented. This is a project that was developed by District Governors Mike Lirio from District 3820 and David Gallagher from District 5220 and was funded by their clubs, their Districts, and The Rotary Foundation.
