Service groups throughout the United States are facing challenges in maintaining membership levels, and Rotary is no exception. District 5220 has made special efforts to accurately count our members - we have a good handle on where we are, and it isn't good. We need to recognize our situation and change our tactics.

To encourage innovative approaches to club membership recruitment efforts, the district has announced grants to help with funding. Grants will vary from $200 to $500 according to the quality of the idea, the total cost involved, and the need for assistance. Applications must be received by the end of September 2008. If your grant application is approved you will be notified in early October. Advance funding is the responsibility of the club, and a final report with accompanying receipts must be received by the end of March in order to receive the approved reimbursement.
