If, as it has been said, “Paul Harris and his works are the heart of Rotary's Global History Project," then the History Introduction section, is the mind.

From there, you can learn who we are, what we are doing, how to understand what is within this project, what it all means, and where to find something specific you are looking for. Within the electronic walls of this area of the project, you can meet our dedicated History Fellows, find our self-guided History Tour, Tenets And Symbols; the Secretariat and the Tools Of The History. We also have information on Early Leaders. Evolution; and Philosophy began as early as the 1914 Houston convention and now is being continued here.  Understanding The Projectwill give you the background of our project and the people behind the scenes.

Next are Leaders Of The World; Famous Rotarians; What the World Thinks of us; and Other Organizations.  That’s right, from the main page of our project, you can find nearly everything that's happened in Rotary since 1868, the year Paul Harris was born. And, now you can remove the "Mystery of searching for History" and use the Google search found at the top of each page. That will find most articles on our website.

There are over 1,200 pages so we aren’t going to try to describe in this small space what each of these things mean. All you need to do is click on any link and DISCOVER. Then, let the links you find carry you wherever you want to travel. And, to get back to the beginning, just click on "HISTORY HOME" on the header of every page.  Doug Rudman, chairman, RGHF History Fellows
