Webmaster note: In response to a recent earthquake in Peru, Rotary clubs throughout the district contributed to a disaster relief fund for the victims. PDG Bob Bitter of Madera Sunrise took the lead in organizing our local effort, and the Madera clubs served as the lead clubs representing all clubs in the district. During the previous week to the trip
donations from the Channel 7, ONG Hand to Hand and Messengers of the Peace
were collected, these
All the donations arrived in this form and it had to be selected grouped to be able to do an inventory of what we had. We received near 30 tons of provisions, clothes, water, blankets, medicines and other articles.
Due to problems of space and that they couldn’t finished to select the clothes, we couldn’t delivered all the clothes we received, all these clothes that was left will be delivered in a following opportunity.
