2007-2008 Annual Programs Fund Giving

The Rotary Foundation – District 5220

Star Club Program

The Rotary Foundation has adopted the goal of EVERY ROTARIAN, EVERY YEAR making a donation to The Rotary Foundation. To encourage this in every club in District 5220 the Star Club Program is being established this Rotary year.

We will recognize, as a charter Star Club, every club who has contributions to the Annual Programs Fund of an average $125 per member in the 2007-2008 Rotary Year. Contributions to restricted giving or permanent fund do not count towards the Star Club status. (Only Annual Programs Fund contributions stay in The Rotary Foundation 3 years and then 50% comes back to our District as District Designated Funds.)

In order for a club to receive STAR CLUB designation, and be recognized at the District Conference, the club must have the funds to The Rotary Foundation by March 31, 2008.

A small star will be awarded for attachment to the club banner. Clubs with multiple levels of $125 per member giving, will receive multiple stars for their club banner. ($250 = 2 stars, $375 = 3 stars, etc.)

STAR Clubs will be honored on the District website and in the District Directory as well as the District Conference. We hope to recognize our first STAR CLUBS at our Foundation Dinner.

What better way is there for all of us to affirm our support of the incredible programs and projects of The Rotary Foundation.

Motivate your club to become a STAR CLUB.

Comments and questions may be addressed to webmaster@rotary5220.org. We hope you enjoy your visit.
