The Rotary World Peace Fellowship is a world-competitive selection process extended to individuals committed to peace and cooperation. The Rotary Centers for International Studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution offer the opportunity to pursue a two-year, master’s level degree in international studies, peace studies, and conflict resolution at one of the sever Rotary Centers:  Duke University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA;  International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan; Sciences PO, Paris, France; Universidad Del Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina; University of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England; University of California-Berkeley, California, USA; and University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia.  Deadline for this application submission is June 1, 2008.

The Ambassadorial Scholarship program supports the mission of the Rotary Foundation to further world understanding and peace.  During their studies abroad, Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholars serve as “ambassadors of good will.”  Through appearances before Rotary clubs and districts, schools, civic organizations, and other forums, the scholars represent their homelands and work to further international understanding and peace.  Academic-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships are for one academic year abroad and provide funding for round-trip transportation, tuition and fees, room, board, some educational supplies , and language training (if necessary), up to a maximum award of US$23,000 or its equivalent.  Multi-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships are flat grants of US$11,500 per year for two years toward the cost of a degree program in another country.  Also available are Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarships that provide funding for three or six months of intensive language study and cultural immersion in another country.  Deadline for this application submission is June 01, 2008.
