Governor Nominee

District Governor Nominee Marvin Williamson is a member of Tracy Sunrise Rotary, and was President of his club in 1993-1994. His Rotary service includes Assistant Governor, District Membership Chairman,, District Conference Chairman, District Assembly Chairman, RYLA Counselor, and many other club and district positions. He and his wife Judy have participated in a Polio National Immunization Day in Ethiopia and Tracy Sunrise Rotary’s/Interact Trip to Ensenada, Mexico to install fencing and playground equipment. In 2010 he was awarded “Rotarian of the Year” honors by his club.

Now retired, Marvin was Vice President/General Manager of Stan Morri Ford-Mercury in Tracy for 38 years. Marvin served on the Board of Tracy’s Downtown Improvement District and the Chamber’s Education/Business Partnership Program. He graduated from A. A. Stagg High School, San Joaquin Delta College, and Humphreys College. Marvin’s three children and eight grandchildren support his Rotary involvement. Marvin is a multiple Paul Harris fellow and benefactor.
