Attached is the information you will need to participate in the 2004 – 2005 District 5220 Annual Club Awards competition to be highlighted at this year’s District Conference being held at the Double Tree (Two Portola Plaza) Hotel in Monterey.

 Complete Handbook PDF

The purpose of the Club competition is to provide a means of evaluating the work each club in the District is doing and to offer recognition for work well done.  The highlight of the competition is the naming of the Best Club in the District.  This club is well rounded and considered by Rotary International to be an effective Rotary Club.

Let us see the great work your club is doing and let us see which clubs are doing outstanding work. Every club in the District is encouraged to compete for the awards regardless of club size or the number of categories you are able to compete in. Send us what you have, you may be one of the best.

A standardized format is being used  to facilitate the judging and to help you organize your accomplishments. This format will make it easier to select the truly outstanding Clubs in the District.

The winners will be announced and presented at the District Conference to be held April 29 – May 1, 2005.

Have fun and good luck,

Dave Gallagher

Centennial District Governor
